Montage Mountain Classics Car Club……..Who are we?

January 8th, 2007

We are a small club located in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The club was organized in 1990 and in the beginning was having their meetings and holding cruise nights at Charges Rest. in Moosic. Later the club moved to the parking lot by Stampy’s on Meadow Ave in Scranton where Stampy’s provided music and a place for meetings to be held. During the early years, the club ran 1 car show a year at the Moscow Country Fair. In 1994 the cruise night moved again to Mendicino’s Pizza at the Daleville Plaza. In 1995 some cruise nights were held at Chefs Kool Springs on Keyser Ave. . . In May of 1997 we started having our cruise nights on the 2nd Friday of the month at McDonalds in the Southside Shopping Center and have been there ever since. We also have a cruise on the 3rd Saturday of the month at Johnny Rockets on Montage Mountain. We are back into having a car show and so far it is scheduled for August and at the Pittston Commons parking lot.

Our club has two charities that we donate to each year. One of them is St. Joseph’s Center and the other is the Ronald McDonald House.

The club is open to any one owning a vehicle 10 years or older. If interested in joining the club, just contact me through the site.
